It's been a long and awesome journey, hasn't it?
Coming here regularly in December of 2002, I was afforded the opportunity to meet splendid folks and befriend the finer of those all. This community was the finest I had ever participated in, and forever shall remain that way. Whenever here I never felt as if every member didn't care about the majority of the other member.. That mesh of support has been illustrated time and time again with our charity support, monetary donations, prayers and mourning for our passing friends and family. Our pain, our joys have been shared by this community since we rose as a phoenix from Mortin's deliberate ****up.
I felt priviledged to fold more than 23,000 points for this team, this team which deserves every point it has to its tally, this team which has suffered so greatly and persevered so brilliantly. Though now as my folding output fades, as some have noticed, it is not without reason. My time here is done. Though the idea of folding is more important than the team for which you fold, I feel it disgraceful to ever dedicate another point to a team that isn't #93. So in spite of the project being for a good cause, the allegiance I have here is stronger than the dedication to the project.
And to the community in which I have lasted longer than any previous; I humbly issue my thanks. For without you folks, and this community, I would not have the knowledge of technology that I now do. I would not be published and syndicated for the world's eyes.. And I would have had many more hours of numb boredom.
To Dan, my closest friend whom I've never met.. My earnest thanks. Conversations at the crack of dawn, and chats on life which I have never been extended from another made days that were otherwise unfortunate and bland just that much better.
To Brian, you let me touch an Opteron largely before the world. That enough is reason to respect you.. But though we may not (Almost never) see eye to eye, I respect you as a person and as a friend.
to LawnMM, we almost always saw straight and agreed. Though he who always agrees with me is not instantly counted amongst my friends, he who I respect shall be such.
To MTGoat, Geeky1, TheSMJ and anyone else who I have not recounted today.. Thank you.
And to Ageek, lastly, I'm sorry.
