Well we got this thing on the mail today for the publishers clearing house. Inside was a gift vouchure of $400 good to buy something in the flyers included. Well I was about to throw it away when I noticed this awesome computer system they had. It's only $379.95 after the $400 voucher. Here are some pics I took of the flyer and specs.

LOL... that's absolutely pathetic. It appears to be an IBM too, which explains a lot. :aol:
I just now noticed... "Factory Serviced" :p
There is a lot of ram. 64MB of it.
That is what most people will say, back in 1998/99.

Christ on a raft!
For 380 bucks, you get a "computer" worth 40 bucks, top. This is scam on a high level.

haha, too funny. I got to get my hands on a active matrix screen, with the name matrix in it, it has to be ubber 1337. One problem though, how come everytime I try to add it to my shopping cart nothing happens? ;)

Wow guys, so you are saying that I have some serious cash sitting around! I have two dandy Pentium 75MHz boxes with Windows 3.1 and PCMCIA card readers just waiting for the "right" buyer   That's even worse than the time the exchange had an two year old Celeron rig and they wanted pretty good money for it , like $400 if I remember.

Give it up for the 5.25 floppy goodness. I can't believe you could buy a P75 with one of those.
Horsepower man! horsepower! LOL, Those are some funny sales. And the shame is some unsuspecting soul will bye one of those thinking they got a deal. Hehehe.

I think it should read 45" Plasma display, not 15" monitor.
3.2TB of HD, not 3.2GB
64GB of RAM, not 64MB
Intel Pentium XII, not II.
I hated those old cases!

Wow, a computer that can take you back in time five years.
MicroCenter in Northern VA had a table full of these for $40 over two years ago (no monitor). I pity the suckers who fall for this.
Nice call, jdii1215, I think you're dead right about the sticker - maybe it's Windows 93 ! Geez, I think I'd rather run that Lindows machine from K-Mart.:D

haha, I also pitty the fool profdlp. But can you imagine how many people actually fell for this. Heck they probably just ordered a pallet full of these because they were so old for like $100 and now making a killing.

I would have been one of those suckers nearly 5 yrs ago, and I knew you could build a computer of your own, even though I had never been on the Internet until Sept 1998. Thats how I found out about TigerDirect in the end of 1998, and signed up for a cataloge, and then in Jan 1999 started buying parts.
