I'm heading to Biloxi next Sunday (18th) and will be there till Thurs night. I know it's on the Gulf of Mexico, I know it's a gambling mecca, but I know almost nothing else about the place. It's partly a business trip, and I know we're gonna go golfing, but I have probably ~2 days worth of free time to spend - and I'm not much of a gambler.

Suggestions anyone?

Live about an hour and a half away.

Since your not much of a gambler..not sure what you'd do...

Might want to make a run over to Gulf Shores, Alabama...very nice

The beach at Gulf Shores is much better than the beach at Biloxi. The sand is much whiter and the water is a beautiful shade of emerald-blue. If you go there, I badly need my t shirt of the Pink Pony lounge replaced. The one I have is about ten years old but I can't stand to think of getting rid of it because of sentimental reasons. New Orleans is a little more of a distance to drive but would possibly be worth it. It's off to the west instead of the east (as is Gulf Shores). Nawleans is self explanatory: get drunk, pee on sidewalk with the other drunks, check out cool voodoo parlors, strip joint or two on bourbon street, puke up guts due to excessive alcohol consumption, wander into what looks to be a cool nightclub from the street but turns out to be yet another gay bar in the french quarter, pass out, do it all again next day. Be sure to check out Pat O'Briens and get one of their famous hurricanes there. If you are going to be in Biloxi for spring break time, you may want to seriously consider driving to Panama City Beach for some drunk college girl action. I bet they wouldn't want to do anything more than get their fill of Canuck and consume alcohol, not necessarily in that order. You can be seen on MTV partying it up too. Gulf Shores has some beautiful golf courses as a side note.

Not going to make it to NO, under strictest orders from Mrs keto ;D

True enough that there isn't enough time for that side trip anyways.

Looks like Mrs. Keto is one step ahead of us here. Gulf Shores isn't too far and sports some fantastic golfing and beaches. They have a good place on the Florida/Alabama state line called "Floribama". It's right on the beach- they have live bands performing on up to about five stages, they have fresh oysters, and a general atmosphere you'll never get anywhere else. It's quite a local hotspot. On the way to Gulf Shores is Mobile Alabama. They have a battleship tour there if that suits you.
