Has anybody else here seen it?

I'm not really into anime, but I found this "Apocalyptic"-themed movie really interesting. It turns out that Osamu Tezuka was inspired to write the orignal comic by (get this) the poster for the 1927 movie, so it doesn't resemble the Classic in any way/shape/form. Regardless, if you can find a copy of it at your local video store, be sure to check it out.

Metropolis is pretty cool. I saw it in my school's anime club like two years ago, its got that whole retro-futuristic look.

heh baron i think you've seen it, but with the westernized name. that is "metropolis" right? greeaaaaat movie.
