Hi, I'm running win98SE and I have a problem installing HijackThis.
It says that I'm missing a MSVBVM60.DLL file.
Please help :(

Here you go. (http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvbvm60) I would imagine it goes in either the Windows folder or the Windows\System folder. :type:

That may not do it all on it's own. You are missing some of the MS Visual Basic 6 runtime libraries. See this link from the publisher of Hijack This, there is a link to downlaod the libraries from MS.
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html
Direct link to the VB6 runtime library:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vb60pro/Redist/sp5/WIN98ME/EN-US/vbrun60sp5.exe
Let us know if that works for you please :)

Glad you got it straightened out, we are happy to help.
Now that you have gotten rid of your Omegasearch problem, I recommend tightening up your browser security using the tips in this article, (http://www.short-media.com/review.php?r=132)
as well as using more caution in your browsing habits as outlined in both that article and the Remove Omegasearch article. (http://www.short-media.com/review.php?r=235)
We hope you stick around, we have some great members here, and can help with almost any technical problem. And we have fun too :)
