Hello again,
At last i got my NF7-SL Motherboard,
i installed XP with the SP1
all the drivers from nvidia, microsoft, Updates DX9 and the board bios
and everything else that is needed..
now everything is fine except to the USB 2.0

http://www.100fm.co.il/Files/Usb.jpg
in the device manager i see that all my usb aint 2.0
i also connected the 2xUSb 2.0 + Firewire card the added inside.

i opened the files inside Abit CD in the usb dir, and forced the USB to Update
the drivers to those (in C:\win\drivers...) and still usb 1.

any ideas ???

thanks for ur time

I have a NF7-s v2.0 and that's what mine shows also.

Your USB 2.0 is operational. If they weren't, you'ld have a Yellow Exclamation symbol next to the devices

I don't have any USB 2.0 devices but mine shows a separate USB 2.0 hub. This is from Windows 2000 BTW.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but XP (SP1 and later) has built-in USB2 Support, which might be why it doesn't show any difference between USB1.1 and USB2.

My Shuttle doesn't specifically designate anything USB2, just USB Root Hub. (I'm running XP SP2 RC1)

That's pretty much what I was thinking and the reason I made it clear that the image from from a Windows 2000 box. I don't have XP so I can't verify any further.

usb2 support is built into sp1.

As for your situation...

Look at the connector make sure you ran the right cable to the right header on the motherboard, alot of people connect the fire to the usb and the usb to the firewire and wonder why it dont work. Please double check it.

If not and you cant get it to work, then let me know. Ill send you another usb only pci slot usb adapter that will work for the shipping cost alone. I have lots and lots of usb expansion things. It dont have firewire on it but it does have 2 usb ports.

Also do any usb devices work in the expansion thingy?

why don't you just try connecting a USB2.0 device to the port?
if it complains, something like "a hi-speed usb device plugged into non hi-speed usb hub", then your USB port is USB1.1 only.
