Internet search / Log in

Hello

Can anyone tell me why my system is freezing for up to 30 seconds in some instances, after doing a search for something on google etc.
I get the same thing if trying to log into ebay, or submit details. I type in details, hit return or left click ok and page freezes, then submits.

Any help would be great, I am using windows 98SE.

Perhaps some spyware? Download HiJackThis (http://www.short-media.com/getdownload.php?d=245), run it, and post the log over in the Spyware/Virus/Trojan Discussion forum (http://www.short-media.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=57). We'll take a look and see if there's anything in there that might be slowing your system down.

will do, Dexter has already given me help on removing Omegasearch sucessfully. I will post my log and see if there is something else there.
