DVD-R media or DVD+R

I have a pioneer 8x dvd writer been using memorex 4 x dvd-r media and has been working great.

Is their any better or as good media?

If so, what? and is it cheaper?

Trying to have options on media!

P.S. Where do you guy's buy you're media from?

I have both DVD-R and DVD+R discs, since both work on my topset player I get whichever has the better sale ($/disc). Also I dont have a specific place I buy from, whoever has em cheap. I've always used Memorex and have never had a problem.
