So today I closed on my new house.
The closing was extremely long and tense. It was over 2 hours, sitting at a table and signing papers and discussing stuff. Anybody who has bought a house before knows exactly what I mean.
I will say this, however.... -tk was a lifesaver today. Right after a marathon paper signing session, tension was high, stress was high, and then I got a text message on my phone.... I checked it, and the message instantly made the whole moment one big cosmic joke, and I laughed out loud, showed my wife, and we both started cracking up. The whole thing was so easy and fun after that.... Thanks, thom....

I just hope it's big enough to hold next years SM LAN - *thinks - hope that doesn't sound selfish :)*

haha, great text message. Glad you got everything over with. Now you get to do the fun stuff, like moving everything in and buying new additions to the house and rack up that honey-do list.

The pond area of the backyard is great. It looks like apart of the wild. Snuffie sure likes it. Enough drinking water for awhile.;)

The other day when we were sitting in the backyard, Snuffie came up with a mouth full of dead weeds and pond scum. Aren't dogs just the cutest things?

Snuffie ate all the seaweed out of the pond.... damn dog....
Basement? Big enough for a small LAN Party???
;D ;D Seaweed is saltwater, Prime. ;) You sure you didn't get one of the famed Chinese Water Dogs? ;D
I wouldn't worry about Snuffie unless he starts eating teh fish... :D
