View Full Version : And this is why my life SUCKS right now

Tex

What do you think? Not a great picture but you get the drift. This was my daughter at age 11. FRIGGIN ELEVEN. As in not even twelve years old. I had 15 and 16 year old boys circling like coyotes back then.

She turns 15 this summer. And my life has become a living hell that just won't end. And soon she and her comrades in crime that persist in driving me mad slowly day by day will be driving cars and dating in cars. I just can't wait...

For gods sake would someone please have mercy on my soul and just SHOOT ME NOW. They say what comes around goes around and we get paid back for the sins of our youth... Well I am paying the price big time.

All I can say is that your wife must have good strong genes cause she obviously didn't take after you

Your right about payback. My first born son was the perfect child. Smart, well behaved, and polite. I thought "this kid stuff is okay". Then comes my daughter. Like yours I had 18 year olds sniffing around when she was 12. I ran one off with a shotgun outside her window at 2AM once :) Then she got 15 and dating and in cars and I now have not one, but 2 grand daughters (5 and 2). This is when we get to pay back our kids. You spoil the grandchildren daily and then send them home hehe. They don't live here :woowoo:

Get with Robert Dinero (sp?) and see if you can go to a Meet the Parents course on how to frighten off males courting your daughter.

Reason # 938 why I am NEVER having a girl. Jesus god, I know some slooty girls.....and if I was their father....oh man. I am sticking to only boys. In the event that I DO have a girl......she better be fat cause I can't deal with it.

Amen to that. I fully plan to be the crazy dad with the shotgun if the guys take a crazy interest in a daughter I may have.

I sharpen knives when they come over... I show them the 375 H&H.... I talk at length about guns and what a good shot I am and.... what a bad temper I got when I was in prison.... (LMAO) And I can fake those crazy wild eyes and dazed looks that make them wonder if I am really kidding when I start laughing and running the knife across my face.....And worst of all I demand their home address and phone number and actually call the parents to introduce myself. I embarress her so bad and... I really don't care... (grin)

So far she is running scared but it won't last long once they get wheels. cars and car dating scare the crap out of me.

Just put constantine wire around your propertu and build a tower in the front yard. Then place warning signs all over with something to the effectof; "My daughter is not worth your life and neither is anything else on this property." If that doesn't work move to the most remote place you can that has no road access for at least 200 miles!

Five things:

Nailed Window
Shotgun door trap
Cold shower
Nailed windows
Shock collar

That should settle everything.

We have an appointment at the convent on her 12th birthday, it may not be soon enough ;D

I've found that there's some sick irony in the pronunciation similarity of whoremoans and horomones.

Sounds like justifiable homocide to me! :D

That's why I'm glad I had a boy..... only one penis to worry about. Tex (and others with girls) has to worry about all of them. ;)

Hey Tex, how about a current pic.:D PLEASE.:)

Yeah I can see how the guys would be coming after her. Just keep an eye on her and as long as you raised her right, she will be ok in the end and get a nice guy to marry.:)

Methinks you opened a can of worms with her pic in here Tex...now these guys'll want to date her as well (not all but some will) I suggest taking her prospective B/F's out for a "Varmint hunt" with you and the prospective "Mr. Right" out alone on a nice open range with you, him and one high powered rifle (preferable .300 winchester mag. or better) and go into the "shell shocked father" routine out in the middle of nowhere.
.300 Winchester Magnum rifle...$650
Box of shells for said rifle...$45
Gas for hunting trip with daughters new boyfriend...$50
Box lunch for hunting trip...$20
Scaring the crap out of the new boyfriend and letting him know your daughter is made of glass and better never be broken...Priceless!

No doubt. Everyone, gal or guy, has to go through a period where they make their parents sweat buckets. It will pass, she'll be fine, you'll be fine, everything will be fine. That is... presuming you stop playing with knives! ;)

Wow LIn, you sound like understanding wife.
Our Daughter is 15 today. She is a perfect Daughter, sensible, funny, conciderate and helpful, She really is a sweetheart, but when she goes out in a short skirt........ :banghead:

Understanding wife says "Leave her alone, she knows what she's doing, trust her" I know she's right but being a father to a daughter is harder than with sons.

Wait a sec... that's her at 11?!

...I think it's time I went on vacation in Texas... I've always wanted to visit the Alamo...

Oh... Uhh... on an unrelated topic; What's the age of consent in Texas?

Tex
21 May 2004, 1:17pm
I have traveled all over this country. There may... with the emphasis on "may"... be more "10's" in southern Califorrnia but when you start looking for "8's" and above there is no where like Texas. Go sit at a major shopping mall for two hours and you will have to roll up your tongue to leave. Texas really does have more beautiful women then any where in the country I believe. Going to college in Texas would be a terrific goal if your hunting for a beautiful young girl to spend yoiur life with.

Robin has a young handsome body builder cousin (male) who lives in the valley outside Aspen where she grew up. He came to visit for a week... (long sigh....) And Aspen has its share of pretty women in it trust me.... Movie stars and celebrities etc... He was so aghast when he came to visit I thought I was going to have to MAKE HIM go home. He said he never dreamed there was any place with so many gorgeous women. Then again he was running around with Robin when she was late 20's who is a pretty hot blonde herself and they are partying around town in a convertible 450SL so it wasnt like a true vision of what partying in Dallas is like for everyone either. (LMAO)

Tex, been there, done that. Got a beautiful 28yr old daughter. Due to my style of work (mining), Sally has been the one that really brought up the kids.

She has done a top job, yet it doesn't matter how well you manage to bring them up, they will do things you will not like.

It is all part of growing up. Rebellion in the way they dress, the type of friends, the music, the things they do. I remember back to when i was young, rebellious. Still a bit like it now at 57, lol.

And yes, it is hard to take!!

Raising girls is tough, you always worry about where they are, with whom, doing what.
Boys are easy. You just wait for the call and post bail.

My daughters are 15 and 16. The older one is cute. But I am safe for a little while. She has figured out how stupid boys really are. She figures by the time they are 20 they might be worth her time. After all she is having too much fun without them.
The younger one is a real student and won't let anything get in her way. Besides she is tough enough to hurt a guy that bothers her.

I've always been extremely protective of my younger sister. The way I see it is this: I'm a guy. I used to be a teenage guy. I know how teenage guys think. I don't want them near my sister.

If I ever have a daughter, I'm sure I'll feel the same way when she begins to grow up. Then again, by the time I have a daughter, kids will be starting to have sex when they're 8...

:) i will take that as a compliment, bothered ;)

but i understand what you're saying, no matter their age, daughters will ALWAYS be "Daddy's little girl". :)

trust in them, in the values you've instilled, hope for the best, and always, ALWAYS be there for them :)

I remember my sister at that age... jeez..

Good luck old buddy, really. It's gotta be the hardest thing when they grow up.. and then you suddenly remember what you were like with girls.. at that age.. that's why you really worry!

..and like Lin says... when someone breaks her heart for the first time... she'l really appreciate you ... you know she will ;)
