I happened to hear this song (http://www.pythonline.com/plugs/idle/FCCSong.mp3) on Sirius' "Raw Dawg" uncensored comedy station the other day. It's a message to the FCC (and the Bush administration) from Eric Idle (http://www.pythonline.com/plugs/idle/) (of Monty Python fame).

In a time when the current administration is reducing our civil liberties, censoring the media, and simply showing very little respect for our inalienable rights, it just seemed like the appropriate message to be sending.

I'm editing the link until the legality of that song can be determined. Is that song in the public domain? It's illegal to post links to copyrighted songs.....

If you look at the second link you can see that Python online has made it available for download.

Also I do have a good understanding of copyright law, especially as it applies in the post-DMCA era.

Thanks
