In preparations for our move soon, my wife has been setting up at the flea market to sell off a bunch of stuff so we don't have to move it. While she was there Saturday, she found some kittens that somebody had dropped off....FOUR OF THEM! My wife, being the kind soul that she is, gathered them all up and was able to give two of them away. That means she took the other two home.

I told her that she needed to take them to the flea market with her Sunday and see if she could find someone to take them, but nooooooooo....SHE'S KEEPING THEM! :)

So now we have Woody and Duke added to our family. ;)

Woody is sort of a calico tabby. Duke is an orange tabby. Here are pictures of Woody and Duke, in that order.

We're guessing they are about 6 weeks old. Thunder just loves them to death! :D

They're cute lil' guys, if you decide to get rid of one you can next day air me the one you don't want...how would you ship a live animal?

I went out to the garage today (we don't actively use it) and heard what sounded like kittens crying. We looked everywhere when I finally decided it sounded like it was coming from where the rafters meet the top of the wall. I climed up a ladder and sure enough....there were TWO kittens up there PLUS the momma cat. The momma cat was not happy at all that I was up there. The kittens look to be about 4 weeks old. My mother-in-law said that the momma cat has kittens every year in her garage. She also said that the momma cat will carry them off when they get a little older.

They are cute little guys (or girls), but I'm not in the need for additional kittens at the moment. ;) :D I already have three and will be getting two more when my sister-in-law gets married. I'm afraid if I get any more cats, people will start accusing me of running a "cat house". ;D

Telling them you "need that many mousers" might distract and confuse them and defuse that one.... When they start presenting chipmunks and stop bringing you the occasional mouse, you will know what to sell them for-- the extras, I mean. :D

We're going to the house we're buying to do some clean up and painting, but I'll try to get some pics of the kittens before they disappear. :)

OH...that's how it's supposed to be. :banghead:

btw....I forgot to mention that WOODY is now called DAISY. It appears she doesn't have a "woody". ;) :D

My wife thought it would be cute to call them DAISY DUKE. ;D
