I'm thinking I'm going to stick to buying an R9800 - 256mb :)
6xAA/8xAF is good enough visually for me :) Doubt 8xAA really does anything that you'd notice while actually playing.
Edit: By the way, whats with this? http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/20030714/vga_card_guide-12.html

Tom was probably utilizing NVidia's "special" drivers for that test... :D

I have to say, I have the 128mb 9800 and I think its great. I went from the Geforce 4 mx420 in my sig, so the jump was HUGE.

Logic says that if it's selling for $270 USD, it should be selling for £170 or so. But it's probably selling for more like £270 or so... the exchange rate doesn't quite work out for electronics for some reason.

You got it in one. It cost me £300 about a month ago, dropped to about £270 ish now. The conversion doesnt work on electronical stuff. On the expensive stuff, we end up paying as much in £ as you do in $ on some kit.
