I was thinking...maybe 802.11g wireless then I woke up to reality and ...paint, power tools, 2x4s...ya-de-ya...

I've come to the realization that anything I want to do in my house starts at $500. ;D

after seeing mmonnin's post, i will i will need to get me a slk947u also, and get me a new fan for the heatsink, since my slk800 is getting dirty and lazy to clean them(too hard to clean, the dusts are like attached to the heatsink with glue or something.)

don't know what else is there to buy. I should buy me new headphones, the sennheiser hd595 looks nice, but i will wait before i take off for college.

Here is a tip, use a comb. I happened to have a comb where the teeth of the comb are exactly the same width as the fins in the HS. The same comb has worked for a SLk-800, SLK-900, and SLK-947. It works great for getting most of the dust out. The rest can be blown out by mouth.

Without much doubt, some more guitar gear....I commissioned my son to design me a new enclosure for an amp, to make it 2 speakers instead of 1 so we're gonna need the supplies to build that...wood, glue, screws, covering, speaker grillecloth, etc. The house/property tax bill arrived in the mail today, if only that $1800 actually GOT me something :banghead:

I've come to the realization that anything I want to do in my house starts at $500. ;D

I've come to the conclusion that after entering Lowe's or the Home Depot you must spend a minimum of $100 to leave. I've found that if I stay out of those places I have more upgrade money :)

I just ordered a Koolance Exos-AL with the 300 Watt water block. If it works well then I add the Northbridge and GPU cooler to the 9800Pro.

Well, I bought Citrix's wc gear and I need to get an adaptor for the CPU block, make a reservoir and get a GPU block (i'm thinking Swiftech blah-blah 50 with adaptor) and hopefully by this time next year I'll have a 2.8c and a 6800U bolted in there as well.
I can't see much point in laying out a big bunch of cash for a new system until this one's way behind the curve and the way things are going I've got a while to wait. I'm waiting on dual core CPU's and the GeForce 15 Whizbangy Ultra and Soundblaster Audigy XxX Shizzzbanger Uber DeLuxe 200.3 surround card with body twitch geometry to come out before I spend mega-bucks again...

Watch out with that light.
I had an ordinary light in my fishtank earlier and my plants were dying.
Now I have a GroLux light, and the plants are almost growing out of the tank.
You'll have to do some serious weeding with such a light, everything goes bananas including algae.

I was thinking about a Gamecube. I don't really need one but the new E3 Zelda video has me drooling like a dog. Zelda: Ocarina of Time is what caused me to buy a Nintendo 64. I ph34r that they might have me roped into getting a cube now. Curse you Nintendo! Curse you!
