So, who is it going to be, Calgary- the underdogs of the playoffs, or Tampa Bay- the heavy favorites?

My pick is Calgary in 6. They've beaten 3 top teams to make it this far. Regular season records mean nothing in the playoffs. It's a general indicator, but not a hard and fast rule of who's going to win. Frankly, that damn President's Trophy is a curse, mainly because there's so much expectation for the team with the best overall record.

Calgary has impressed me. Their defense has been phenomenal, Kiprusoff has been impenetrable, and Iginla, well, he's Iginla.

I picked the Flames in 7.

Calgary played a real tight game tonight. Tampa is going to have to step it up even more to match them.

One word Iginla... Just seems to be one of the key difference makers in this year playoffs.

Tampa in 6. They'll get to Kiprusoff good in game 2. Tampa hasn't played well in any game 1 this playoffs.

It wasn't Iginla who beat the Red Wings... Damn you Mika...

calgary in 7
also: i'm of the opinion that any city that doesnt have ice in the winter shouldn't be allowed to have a hockey team, let alone win the stanley cup. Call me an elitist, i don't care, it just doesn't seem right.
