The Inq (http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=16179) has a rumor that AMD is testing a new 90nm Socket 900 chip codenamed Toledo
A REPORT ON AMD Board claims that Advanced Micro Devices is testing a 90 nanometre DDR silicon on insulator (SOI) processor using a new-fangled 900 pin socket and codenamed Toledo.
That, the site claims, will be introduced in the second quarter of next year.
And, it adds, dual core DDR-2 90 nanometre chips will follow just a few months after that.
