Thrax
29 May 2004, 11:34pm
So here we are.. General Keebler, Kwitko, Prime, Mmonnin, and Thrax cruisin' back and forth between Detroit, Warren, and various assorted destinations.
As Prime goes to get the best chicken wings in all of planet Earth, Kwitko, Keebs and myself are standing on a corner in Detroit watching pimps and hookers run by in suits and ball gowns. Ruff Ryda wannabes driving their crotch-rockets with their legs out to the sides, spinner rims on 1970s Impalas, the works.
They got the full Detroit experience. From the East Germany/West Germany chain-link fence dividing Detroit from old money Grosse Pointe, to Sweetwater chicken wings, to 8 mile, to a driveby of the old Sarcnet.
We had a blast. I had to go to see a concert tonight (Foghat, Mountain and Deep Purple are playing) so they dropped me off and headed back to Sarcnet v2.0 to have a MLAN (Micro LAN).
Pictures, are of course a necessity.

Prime gave his key to The Smidge, so we were locked out of his new abode. Keebs and Mmonnin are apparently master thieves, and were troubled little by trivialities like "Windows." Who the hell needs those? In goes the wrestler from Ohio. Keebs looks guilty.

Prime collapses in exhaustion on his floor after only sleeping for 5 hours. Snuffie wants to play mantouch, but after a(n) (a)rousing night of master/dog mantouch, there's just no energy left in Prime's body to go on.

Keebs is still on DanTime©, coupled with sleeping very little due to -TK and the rest of us having epic battles of wit at 4:30 in the morning.. Here he is: Your very own General Keebler passed out on the floor of Sarcnet v2.0.

Apparently this is how General Keebler stalked about England as he searched for Dan. Unable to understand the British accent yet, combined with a cell phone, Keebs had to initiate bizarre location rituals to track Shorty down.

Marc is right - there is no way we could ever duplicate this perfect photo if we tried. This was a one take shot - we set the camera on a 10 second delay, and said "everybody look emo and filled with angst, like a sensitive college band"... This was the result. Comedy gold.

Keebs kindly demonstrated for us the difficulty he has with understanding shorty's accent on the phone. When he speaks with shorty on the phone, he has to pace around and squint as to really concentrate on what is being said. This is another angle of the same scene that Thrax snapped for us:

I don't know what Marc and Keebs are doing here. It has something to do with butter.. By the way, see the fairly large lump of 93 score fresh cream butter on Mmonnin's pancakes? Yes, well Kwitko was talking about something, telling us a story, and without realizing it, he popped the whole lump of butter into his mouth and ate it. Immediately afterwards he said "I think I just ate a lump of butter....."

Brian, what exactly was going on in that photo that Tracy posted? Or perhaps I should ask Tracy in order to get the actual truth...
Not bad PhotoCHOPPING for an old guy.... Carpet isn't quite right, but oh well.
I went through the thread backwards, so I fell for it at first... I was like, "What the hell!" but then discovered it was no different than the Loch Ness or Bigfoot.
You have some pretty L337 Photochop skillz for an old dude!

Thats it....prime, you should have a 4th of july one, that could be reaaaal disastrous if Pseudo and I grace your prescence. Esp, after you see the pictures I post of indy. We drank over 1500 beers that weekend and have the can pile to prove it.

I hope you mean 150?
Nope, I mean 1500. Ask Reverb, he was there, he can vouch for it.

1500!?!? :eek2: HOLY shizzit! you guys are like my new heros .
Can pile was a ******* tourist attraction. After a while, we(when we were thoroughly enebriated) we starting peeing in the can pile....alot. At least 65 pee-pees were takin in the pile. When the standard doofus came about with that 'OMIGOSH!' look on his face, we told him he could do a can angel. Hehehehehe....hilarity ensued.

Yeah yeah yeah. See the thing is, I had something actual to do, rather than get drunk and make people jump in a pile of piss. You are oh so impressive.

1500/25 = 60 :eek3:
Praying to God you're talking about 12 ounce cans, one 12 ounce cans is equal to .75 pounds and since 1500 cans divided by 25 people is 60 cans a person, 60*.75 is 45 pounds. Yes, that's right, you've consumed 45 pounds of alcohol per person. Judging that the average man is 180 pounds, (45)/(180)*100 = 25%... Yes, your body would be comprised of 25% alcohol, and being that your body is 70-72ish% water and alcohol dehydrates you YOUR ASS WOULD BE DEAD.
Maybe if you multiply the amount of people by three, and divide the number of beers by two, there'd be a chance in hell that was right. Also, judging that a 12 pack of beer probably costs like $10, that means you clownboats went out and spent $1250 on boose when you'd be dead somewhere around $300 worth of boose.

A beer is only 5% alcohol so they only drank 2.25 pounds of alcohol or 1.25% of their body weight.

I heard that band is starting a website. Is that true?

See below.
You two need to take your little pissing content elsewhere. This is supposed to be a fun thread.
I dunno, I've seen better men than myself finish 24 packs in less than 3 hours. Their feat is definitly possible. McBain, I support you!

They were! ;D
Trust us....we were. You guys have never really seen a good party then if you doubt me. Dirty 30's in 2 hours are easy feats so long as its the right conditions(for 2 people). Keep in mind we started Friday in daytime and finished sunday in the day time and went on about 4 hours sleep. Nary a time when we weren't drinking( except sleeping)

Dude. No one likes excuses.
I still think the best moment of the whole weekend was when keebs and I were playing with the nail puzzle, and kwitko snatched it away cos the clinking noise was keeping him awake. I swear, I felt like a little kid who had been sent to bed with no supper...
