FRAPS isn't showing up

for some reason, any time i install fraps (new or older version) it works ONE time and stops. why?! it's really starting to piss me off! :banghead:

not sure exactly what it stands for ... i could look .. but i'm lazy lol ... it measures framerates in games is what it does

Oh, OK. I've often wondered how people knew frame rates, apart from the games that have utilities for such.

Do you have some sort of trial version of Fraps that is only good for one use. I know it doesn't sound very probable but it's a possibility I guess. Also if you have had a trial version in the past maybe it is reading the experation date of that trial and carrying it over to your current version. Just some ideas.
