I bought it, its awesome, I must say that the online and single player gameplay are just absolutely sweet. Game play is highly action packed, and graphics are pretty good.

Just got it myself. Very good game, the action is awesome, nothing like seeing 50 bullets wiz by your head, nice sound and gameplay. I haven't got into multiplayer yet, but the single player is good so far. I'm about 8 levels into the game so far. The bet part is when your in the vehicles and you can hang out them to shoot at the enemies.

This game simply is so immersive. Wait till you do Stalingrad and the battle for Red Square.. wow..

Excellent game
I finished it a week ago, and the red square mission is very cool indeed.
Also loving it, not very far in and haven't done mp yet but so far it's great.

I think its alot like MOHAA but the enemy and support troops seem to have alot better AI. All in all a very absorbing game

Call of Duty is a different game entirely. Sort of a cross between RTCW and Mohaa in terms of realism. I played the multi first time last night, and I WAS NEWBED! Playing Mohaa and then this is like switching gears, the players are faster, the gren timings are slower, the weapon damage is faster, the metal sight aim is new (To me) and so is prone position. It's gonna take me awhile to get used to it.

I really can't wait until I get into the more in depth missions, right now I think is a little breather for what is coming up which is great. I'm going to be playing this game all night it looks like. So far the Germans are getting pwned by yours truly.

Im gettin better at mp, but i still get pwned by snipers, i think they may have made the sniper rifle a little too accurate...:(

I don't think it is to accurate, I mean it is a sniper rifel you know, it has to be accurate at the distance you will be shooting from. I have been mowing down the computer with the sniper rifel myself. Especially when jumping around corners, zooming, shooting, hiding and doing the same.

I have a computer coming as a spare part rig, and if its good enough ( dont know the details yet) then i might host a dedicated Call of Duty server for all of us short-medians :)

The snipers do get kinda annoying though. Its fun to snipe but sucks to get sniped repeatedly.

If you get into the single player Bothered, do not play on the normal level, try one of the harder ones, the normal was a little too easy I think.

i started on regular, because the easiest setting just pretty much made you invincible.

The SP was way too easy IMO. It was pretty good, can't touch MOH IMO :P. I can't do any online gaming from school, I'll have to try MP when I get home for break.

They should have a "Contra" mode...one hit and your dead :D
lol panzer, i saw a vid of a guy beating contra in 15 minutes with 3 lives and he never died EVAR! he ended up with like 10 lives from the kills it was rediculous he used the spread gun the entire time

I must say, this was the best wwII game ever, the campaign was awesome, it could have been a little longer, thats the only compaint.

Well I'm just hoping they modelled some of the german weapons correctly, I tired of MoHAA from trying to be historical with the Kar98.

Normally the tidle key (~).
If not that, try shift and tidle or control and tidle.
Spent 10 mins screwing around trying to get in, no dice. First time trying mp so it's prolly something I'm doing wrong but it IS trying to connect...just won't hook up for some reason

I'm afraid I can't tonight, even though I have actualy been playing the single player quite a lot today. I'll be certainly up for it at some point over the next few days, it's a great game, it kind of has the best bits of both Medal of Honour and BF1942 all rolled up into one game. I bought it after reading all the comments you guys made about it in this here thread. Have sadly yet to experience it on my Radeon 9800 Pro, but it runs just fine on my away stations FX5200.

more than likely, to actually get a game in, you'll need to plan for about a week or so in advance. It's kinda tough to get enuf players if you just say "lets play now". That being said, I should be good to go in a game after the 6th :d

I got COD for Christmas w/ my new comp.. and I get a constant 90FPS in 1280x960 with maxed out settings... Very fun single player and deathmatch online is SO FUN!
Excellent game, much better than MOHAA which it was similar to.

I play with a group of friends (clan, not in the clan, yet, though) in ther server...
PxR|Phoenix-Rage.org ... It's a Team Deathmatch server
Im in Utah and I don't remember where the server is... but I get about 100 ping.. Plays way smooth tho :)

Bootcamp #4 and #10. Never had over 50 ping. Runs with TK on as well. I have seen some servers that runs with tK off and the concole is spitting out warnings all the time. I mean ffs, if you are 30 peeps in that little city map in a search and destroy, how the hell can you stay clear of TK? For 10-12 peeps , i agree that TK should be off but 30...unreal.
