ok, so before i tighten any more screws on the x plate, i've notice that it IS bending my motherboard. it is a very small bend, and the screws aren't even all tightened yet. either way, that means it's putting strain on it. is this normal for using the x plate (back plate, whatever)? would i just be better off using the stock retention module??

so it won't put too much tension on it? what about mounting it ... if the thing has a U shape, it'll be a lot harder to mount back into the case...

another quick q regarding the smart fan 2 ... do i just plug the brown plug into the normal cpu fan plug? or do i use the 4 pin adapter and then run the white part into the cpu fan monitor ... what's all that thing about?
use a 3pin > 4pin convertor...the fan can use upto 8.4watts which is more than u want ur mobo conector to use...this should help ya out
