View Full Version : Games Running Off Center..
Some Of My Games I Play For Example Cs 1.5 (but Not 1.6), And Final Fantasy Xii The Screens Are Off Center. There About A 2 Inch Black Margin On The Left Side. It Pushes The Hole Screen Over And Cuts Off Part Of The Picture. Ive Set The Resoluctions Correctly And Changed It To Play Full Screen But It Still Does It. Anyone Know Why?

If the different drivers don't work try using different refresh rates for your monitor.

Look in the menus that are part of the monitor, not in the software, but the actual menu button on the monitor. There should be selections for adjusting the screen size and shape. Some monitors use different settings for each resolution, so one resolution could look fine while another is nucked up (which means you need to do the adjustments in the game that is having the problem.
If you don't have a menu button on your monitor, then look for small knobs , either on the back or inset somewhere.
What kind of monitor is it?

The gang is right, this is basically a refresh rate problem and not just resolution. Some monitors have an autosync ability you can get to with a monitor button, many do not but do have the knob adjstments. Monitor is not being recognized right by the non-working game versions, bottom line. That is why.
You might be able to use a lower refresh rate, or move the image left with monitor controls, then move back right for windows when done. Probably more horizontal refresh rate than vertical.
cool, i try those solutions
