Hello, I was told by someone in a short-media forum to download a program called Bootvis. Around the same time I installed it, I got a virus on my machine. I did not immediately assume it was the bootvis program that caused it, but I would just like to be sure that the program is 100 percent safe. Thank you.

Yes, it's a Microsoft piece of software, I use it often. Like Thrax said, it couldn't be more safer.
