I have just bought B:1942, but am finding it hard to get too involved as the game only plays in black and white, with slight traces of color (ie. the red or blue above player's names).
I have a Pentium IV 2.8GHz with 1Gb RAM and a ATI Radeon 9800 Pro GCPU. I have updated the drivers for the 9800, but to no avail. Fiddling around with the control panel settings don't seem to help either.
Does anyone else have any ideas?
TIA,
William John.

Very strange, indeed. Did you check to make sure the SmartShader effects isn't set to Black & White under 3D Options in the ATi Control Panel? Only thing I can think of...:-/

It's moment like these that one can only feel like a newbie and take it on the chin. Didn't see that setting, but suspected it would be something simple. It was set on B&W Stylize. Have changed it now and will check game... but am sure it will be fixed.
Thank yee Entropy.

Worked very well, entropy. Has resolved the issue. With a bit of tweaking I should be able to get the image looking a bit more realistic, though, as the colors look a little saturated rather than textured. I will definitely work on it. Do have to go back to exam studying, though. ;)
