I went to www.gmailswap.com last night and was sent a bucket of offers for my swop. In the end I offered it to a bloke who no longer wanted my swop but gave me an invite anyway... It is refreshing to have such honest and nice people around. Especially when I was accused of setting up a scam....

How much activity do you need to have in order to get the ability to invite folks?

I think they forgot about me. :-/ There's 11 messages between me and one person. Two each between me and 3 others. 3 between me and another guy. Two have been sent to me that I haven't replied to. NO INVITES! It sucks.

I'm waiting for them (my friends are too) but they just won't come! :mean: They do come in your inbox right? Anything else I need to do? :confused2

I'm sure we're all very aware which of the above are new members who made this their first stop in the forum. I've been making sure I get them to regular members first as they request them, but if I have extras I don't mind sharing a few with new members. It's the same situation in the SVT Forum. New members get help, and then sometimes they come back and sometimes they don't. That part is up to them.

Anyway, there seems to be a dry spell of invites right now from Google. Cyrix, I'll check back with you first when I get more to see if you're in yet.

I think they put a freeze on it due to a landslide of feedback they haven't been able to keep up with. They've resorted to a generic response form now.
