Right, this isn't easy.
The other day I expressed my opinion on gays in the thread 'Christian games'
I had no right. My life is a continuing journey into tolerance and I've realised if I have a problem with gays then it is MY problem. I also realise that there may be some gay people who visit this forum and if my opinion has upset anybody then I sincerly apologise. I may be 51 but the older I get the more I know what I don't know.
God bless.

What thread "Christian games"?
I think it's big of you to apologize for that bothered. I just stumbled across this thread and thought for a moment. There've been a few times where I have had to edit comments and have even had some edited for me ...thanks to the good moderators here at S-M.
My wife works with many gay ppl (in the cosmetology industry) and I find myself biting my tongue off each time I have to go visit her ...of course I'm ok as long as they leave me alone!
I guess my attitude is ...If you respect my sexuality then I can respect yours ...just don't cross that line and we're ok!

Bothered why do you apologize?
your opinion is yours. there is nothing to apologize about. this is an issue discussed by people everywhere, not just us on SM, i know some of the stuff we said may be offensive, BUT its how we feel. there is nothing to be ashamed about.
i know i sound like an ass... but if we go around apologizing to everyone after we state our opinion, no one will get anywhere in this world... ESPECIALLY this country.

Nah...you've reached the point in your life where you've forgotten more than others have lived. I commend you for your willingness to apologise. It's a good sign of character.

However much I despise being politically correct, there are times when an apology is necessary. And if he felt like this deserved an apology, 'tis ok. I also agree with you Jengo, but as they say ... "Everything in moderation"
