So here we start.

Yesterday, Kwitko called and told me when he'd be arriving in Detroit. Blackhawk said "Tell him to bring me some real New York style pizza".. I said "Seth, bring Raul some real New York style Pizza"..

Seth says, "Fine... I'll talk to my guy...."

He has a GUY that he has to talk to for frigging PIZZA? :wtf:

anyways, the pizza arrived today. Raul tried it. I tried it.

It sucked.

It's a flat piece of crap! WTF?!!??! THIS is pizza? Bleh! Go to chicago, you goons!

We were all sitting around BSing, and then we heard a screech. We walked over to the back area and saw the following....

Broad daylight. Why, keebs, why?

Thanks, wish I could be there (really). On the fourth, I will be helping with the logistics for an evening party for about 108 people at one of the boat clubs down here. Let's just say I got to go that way.... Mom's the party co-ordinator.... subs, oerduerves, pie (choice of cherry or apple, ala mode), beer, or BYOB whatever.... Then large scale citizen and city sponsored fireworks out over our somewhat little (and shallowish in random places) Charlotte Harbor courtesy of a bunch of donators.... :D But in thoughts, will be with you-all on that night. GREAT to see Raul there....

Last night, at 3:30 AM:

Keebler brought an air horn with him. You know, those air cans with horns on the end that are EXTREMELY loud.... Well earlier, we got him with it when he fell asleep, so he took it from us and put it in his pocket. Well, when he fell asleep again, -tk tried to pull a mission impossible to get the air horn from Keebs.

It didn't work out. There was a lot of drinking going on last night :(

primesuspect
4 Jul 2004, 2:32am
Yet another :wtf: situation....

primesuspect
4 Jul 2004, 2:38am
Okay. Here's the situation. You'll remember back in the party thread (http://www.short-media.com/forum/showpost.php?p=149209&postcount=30) there was mention of something called UNTAMED RETRIBUTION.

Well, guess what. Keebler, Mmonnin, and Thrax drove to Ohio today to BUY THE FRICKING THING. They came back with a motherlode of pyrotechnics. This is going to be crazy.

primesuspect

Thrax
4 Jul 2004, 4:38am
Keebs made sure not to be victimized the second time. The early morning "Ninjer" operations on a sleeping Keebler to retrieve the airhorn (See prime's post above) was a failure.

However this is a direct result of this picture. Keebs dropped at approximately 10:30 at night, exhausted from his extended sojourn with Kwitko (Undoubtedly laden with mantouching incidents).

The airhorn was not so secure this first time, so in a brilliant piece of timing between Mmonnin and myself, I have capture the expression delivered by keebler the exact moment of waking.

Regards,

Your local Japanese Ninja Porn-Loving Opteron Faerie.

Profdlp totally got me today. He totally pwned me. I admit defeat.

The major group of us went out to eat. About five minutes after we got back, there was a knock at my door. I opened the door and there was a guy there who said:

"Hi, we just moved in down the street and I was wondering if you guys could keep it down tonight. I don't want to be a bad neighbor, but it would be great if you guys could keep it a bit quieter".

I was like, "oh crap.. Dammit, bad impression on the neighbors." We WERE pretty loud last night and generally we are outside till 3-4 in the morning, and people get kind of loud.

Then he said "Yeah, my partner and I like to play mantouch at night and ...."

I lost it. It was profdlp.

Oh the joys of the first time "in person" meetings :D

Yes, definitely! No official date set yet, but most likely in the second half of August, there is going to be an S-M get together in lovely NY.

On another note, if you ever plan on driving to the NYC area, I highly suggest you purchase an E-ZPass (http://www.e-zpassny.com/) tag for the tolls. The cash lines can get backed up over an hour, plus you'll look all 1337 passing the out-of-towners who didn't know about it. Even if you use it once, it's worth it.
