Don't read ahead if you haven't played this yet, don't wanna give anything away to anyone. Even though I am only 5 hours into it.

After recovering the engine part for the speeder bike races I returned to the Hidden Bek camp. When I try to enter the base it kicks me out to the main menu. I tried v1.0, 1.1 and 1.3. I also tried downloading a copy of it (hey, I own a full copy so this isn't illegal is it? :P) and used the crack etc. Still didn't work.

Anyone ever get this bug? I have explored every other option and there is nothing left for me to do but go back to the damn base. I am using old Cat drivers, 4.1 I think. Could this be the problem? Only thing I can think of is formatting and reinstalling everything *sigh*.

Dude, fo sho. When I updated from my current (4.1 or 4.3 I forgot y0) it cause my counter-strike/HL to lag when alt-tabbing and also crash after a few alt-tabs to the desktop. Fo sheezy tho on the updateheezy. I guess I'll try that when I get home. Word.

updated my mobo and radeon drivers. no luck. its funny cause it doesn't lock up the game or crash or anything. it just shoots me out to the main menu, still inside the game.
