after reading csimon's thread about planning a water cooling setup, well, i finally got enough money for it, so i will be buying stuff soon.

here is a list of parts mtgoat posted in the thread

Radiator: Heather Core Radiator $29.99 @ Dangerden
(these are basicly the same as the now discontinued D-Tek Pro-Core)

Fan Shroud: Coolingworks Coolshroud for 6"x6" Heater Core $10.99 @ Cooltechnica

CPU Block: Swiftech SMCW6002-A $40.00 @ Cooltechnica

Vid Card Block: Swiftech MCW50 $38.00 @ Cooltechnica
(Add $4.00 for a pair of 1/2" Tube ID Hose barb adapters)

Coolant: Zerex Racing Super Coolant $4.50 @ Cooltechnica

these are the parts that i'm interested in. looking for any kind of feed back.

i'm only going to cool my athlon 1700 and my 9800pro so i don't need a chipset block.
and alll this stuff is going into an xoxide x-viper case, i know it's not a great case, but i liked the look.

i will be leaving the radiator out of the case.

I think you will be very pleased with the results! Why not include the NB? I am in the process of moving my radiator to the outside rear of my case. Don't forget you will need a pump. ;) (Eheim)

i already have a pump, and about routing the tubes to the outside of my case, what's the best way to do it??

If they are 3/8" tubes, what about routing them through an open PCI slot?

Or, if you wanted to be crafty, drill a pair of 1/2" holes in an empty PCI slot cover, install 1/2 - 3/8" rubber grommets and route your hoses through that :)

Nice and clean. :)

I am going the rubber grommet route simguy mentioned. I have 1/2" ID tibing which is really 9/16" OD and needed to drill 5/8" holes for everything to fit.

I'm currently waiting it out a short while till I get some roblems with one of my folding rigs sorted and have another to add so I don't loose any production. But you can expect a full report. Since I wasn't happy with a few things when I origially set up my H2O I was going to do a full write-up after It's all done!
