Hi guys i need help fast!

I need to know the factory default setting bios password is on a tiny PC.

Can you give me some advice quickly :D

What are some common bios passwords that maybe the motherboard manafacturer could of put on(phoenix bios) or tiny themselves.

I have taken out the bios battery and giving it about 1 hour to get rid of it.

But if it's factory default that probably wouldnt make a difference!

Please guys i know your the best gurus on this interweb.

google for a program called killcmos. It will knock most passwords out of a bios.

If that doesn't work, look up the website of the motherboard manufacturer and find the jumper that will clear the cmos. It'll reset everything to default settings and will clear out the password. You'll have to go back through and change the settings to what you think they were before, which can involve a lot of trial and error if you get them wrong.

clearing the cmos won't clear the password on many motherboards. Been there. Done that. They try and make it a little tougher then that to get around. Some it will though.

You can try a big list of default passwords (http://www.phenoelit.de/dpl/dpl.html). Good luck!

If it's not in there, you can go with what Tex said about killcmos.
