AGP 3.0 spec question

if i remember correctly i was intrigued that the AGP3 spec included an ability to have multiple AGP card or AGP chips (kinda like the hack that 3dfx did with the voodoo5 and voodoo6)....

anyone remember this? correct me if i'm wrong....

if i'm not talking out of my ass, any idea when this will be implemented?

i was under the impression AGP was being dropped in favor of PCI-Express... although that may not be what you're talking about

AGP wont be dropped for a long time due to the current level of AGP cards that are out, it just wouldnt be viable.
