UT2K4 Server is Up! (use it or lose it)

OK, All you gamers out there. It's fragfest time! The Icronauts 2K4 server is up and running for Icrontic and Shortmedia. Load your game on your pc, update the patch to the latest. Start your game and go to favorites, hit (add favorite), put in the IP addy in, 198.64.190.136 and join the site. Then everything else will load from the site. It has all the bells and whistles-- gametype vote, mapvote, kick player, ban player, ingame teamspeak. And I don't know what else! I'm still looking at the server and settings. Any questions can be left here, or PM me, or e-mail me at hawk@icrontic.com. Hope you all enjoy it friends.
BTW, Could one of the mods delete the old UT thread

Seems like we're losing the thread on the UT2K4 Server. Could one of the mods delete the old server thread and sticky the new one in. The server runs great guys and gals. So, Have a blast! It has all the map changing, game mode changing, in game teamspeak, etc. Thnx Hawk

I want to play so bad, but my system doesn't play 3D Games for some reason :( I'll probably reinstall the game in a couple days and try to play though.

Already played it, loved it more than most any other game, just keep crashing when I play games.

Is the server retired? I added it to my custom list and the server couldn't resolve the ip.

Server should still be up. I'll check it as soon as possible. My main pcs been down for 2-3 weeks and with the hurricanes, lack of work, bronco in shop for tranny work, repairing my house and inlaws house, etc. Had video card problem, think it's the AGP slot on MB that went bad. I haven't had time to do anything. Just got back this mornin from 2300 mi trip up and back from central Fla to Southern NJ in 4 1/2 days. I appologize if the servers been down. Gotta get rolling on setting pcs up. Have 6 cases setting in my living room now--1- inlaws to rebuild, the rest for my network. Probably going to have 4 on my network. Anyway, I'll get to checkin the server as soon as possible. I'm on wifes pc right now and it doesn't have any of my server stuff or even UT2k4 on it, so I can't check it. I'll see if I can contact the server host and ask them to check it for me.

UT2K4 Servers been shut down.:( I e-mailed the host site and asked if I owed him any money, because I hadn't heard from him. Also, A few players asked if the server was down. Here's the answer I got. Unfortunatly I dont feel that I want to be in the server biz anymore to many ppl getting into it and charging 10 dollars making it difficult to make any money. I hope this does not cause you ant inconvienance. )
Nobody has offered me a $10 UT2K4 server!!!! I was paying him $59.00 mnth. I guess thats what you get when you deal with a kid running a business.
I have checked my e-mail every week, with the exception of during the hurricanes. Lost power 5 days on the first one. Lost 5 days on the second one, but I checked e-mail as soon as I was back on. And never even recieved a notice of payment or anything from them. Well, I'll let you all know when I get a new UT2k4 host and get it set back up. Sorry gang. Man, that really pisses me off. Anyway, I wanted you all to know whats up.

you may be able to get something goin with http://www.web1000.com/ they have lots of things that are FREE like bandwith but i dont know if they offer a game server

Yey! I haven't been able to find a really good UT2004 server yet, but this one may work out. Now I just have to find the time to play it...
