The framerate data was collected by id Software at their office is Texas.

id Software has been kind enough to do some things for the community so we can all hit the ground running and be ready for our DOOM3 experience from the moment we open the box.

Whoopee. I wanna see how it runs on the current avg system. I'd guess that would be a 9800, AMD 2500, and 512 ram.

Interesting results considering they said it would have to run in a special "cut down mode" to deal with the GeForce FX lines pixel shaders and such.

Enverex, ID removed that special rendering path for NV30 6 months ago :)

All DX9-compatible hardware, no matter the company, runs the ARB2 OpenGL rendering path in D3.
