VIA has released an HDTV encoder for PCs. This encoder will allow PCs to support HDTV displays and take inputs from MPEG decoders using a variety of standards including 1080i HDTV
The VT1625 encoder will allow PCs to support HDTV displays and take input from graphics chips or MPEG decoders using a variety of standards including 1080i HDTV.
The encoder will support inputs from 640x480 to 1024x768, including HDTV input formats 1280x720 or 1920x1080 in different RGB pixel formats, as well as YCrCb pixel data formats.
