I prey I can get a 6800 GT before Tuesday.

Thanks to the shortage, preying is all I can do, but it seems my Ti4600 should play it well enough to keep me happy. Besides, the upgrade will be that much better if I get to expirence Doom 3 both before and after the upgrade!

BAHHHHHH we had a lightning storm last night at 1:30am and a power surge took out my high end-est system with the Raptors in RAID0 and 9800XT. Ya, it's on a surge prot, I think lightning hit RIGHT HERE tho, the house shook.

/me goes off mumbling to diagnose

i want to know why they include the 9600 pro, 9500 pro, and 9800 pro, but no 9700 pro.

That was also my point of curiosity. I just thought, then, that it would land on the upper end between the 9600 XT and the 9800 Pro.

Same here. I know I'm being a bit on the conservative side here, but I'm comparing my system to the 2500+ and 5700U they tested with. 8x6 high quality or 10x7 in mid quality. Think I'll be able to hit 10x7 and high? :) Some overclocking should do the trick!
