sucks. :p
You idiots just made me go out and buy the game just to see it run on my 6800GT. I don't even PLAY FPSes for christ's sake. But I picked up UT2004 on DVD, X2 "The Threat", Perimeter, Track Mania, The Republic, and the expansion pack for Warcraft 3 (and I'm not quite sure why I bought that... I hate Starcraft, I hate Warcraft 3... I swore I'd never buy another Blizzard product... I think I figured that since I have WC3, I might as well pick up the expansion pack for $20 or whatever it was).
And yes, I'll be sure to post screenies of Doom 3 :D

I thought UT2004 was lame, but I loved Doom 3.
WC3 and its expansion are good, but multiplayer SUCKS! Heros should NEVER have been put in multiplayer.
hmm. On Doom 3:
well gee, that intro screen puts the sub in the z-680s to good use... *sticks finger in ear, digs around, hits side of head*
Also, who was the numbnuts that decided to not put this damn thing on DVD?

Beats me, Didn't take long at all to install though.
not so much the install time as the hassle of swapping CDs that bugs me. :-/

And Doom 3 is capped at 60fps isn't it? I've got it maxed out (1600x1200, highest detail settings) and I'm getting 60fps. :D
I like Doom 3, I think it's starting to get alittle repetive tho, i'm almost done with the game and I'm pretty sure I wont wanna play single player for a long time. Don't get me wrong, I love it and it's fun to play, but after awhile it seems like the same old stuff over and over. And I'm already outta hell and just entering the CPU area.
I buy sweet games for the online play. 'Sonly a matter of time before the awesome mods roll out.

1 - you were bitching about getting a randomly assigned nv40 avatar
2 - theres a byte about you having to sleep with a radeon under your pillow
3 - less than a day after teh [H] benchmarks come out, you own an nv40,
and yet somehow its US that made you buy doom 3 ?????? :confused:
plus - like a day ago you were whining about not having any money cos of the 700 you spent on new video cards, and now 250 on games ???? - thats 1000 bucks in a week my friend ....

I didn't spend anything on the laptop. It was one of the birthday presents I got from my grandparents. As for the money for the cards and stuff... I have a job during the summer. :D

Heh. That's because you're taking me too seriously. I don't honestly believe that you guys made me go buy Doom 3. It's just more funny to say that then it is to say "well, i decided to buy doom 3..."
And yeah, I can see how people could think that I'm a whiny, spoiled, rich kid, but those people are taking me entirely too seriously. :)
