So here is the thing. I saw this video last night of a black cobra with some badass rims. I searched all day today for them and found them. They are $1,200 a piece so they will not be coming to my doorstep, haha.

I sent the link to the cobra to EgoShowcase and he said they were ugly as hell and wanted me to post a poll on it.

So here we are, do you like these rims on this car? Since my car is black I want to get some black rims, as long as they have the polished lip though.

If I had to pick one... I'd say not. And definitely not $1,200 worth of hot.

Good looking rims but definitely not worth that rip off of a price. Five finger discount hot.

They are $1,200 because some swedish company makes them I think, and they are like 22lbs a piece so they are really light.

IMHO it would've been hot if it didn't have the chrome.

Look like **** IMO.

Guess what I voted for?

They aren't bad, I kinda like em on that car at least. Better than that chrome crap people put on their cars now. For 1200 apiece though, I wouldn't go anywhere near them.

Not! To the 1200th power!

It'd look better if it didn't have the studs around the inside of it. 22lbs is pretty light, which I think is the driving force behind its price.

I went with the "not" crowd myself. Not that they look fugly, but mainly for the $1200 pricetag each. The light weight is great but not at the expense of putting you in the poorhouse to get them.

Well, I am not a Mustang fan (sorry Clutch & Rada :() and those rims do nothing to improve the car's standing with me either. :-/

Fake split rims are so 1990.

Ugly as hell.

NOT!

For that price I'd rather have some Coddington rims or Jesse James signature series.
I'd have to say NOT!!

most definitely NOT. They just don't do anything for the car. The little studs make it look like some freaky piece of bondage gear that's somehow been bolted to your rims. I'm pretty sure you can find someting nicer. Other than the rims I don't mind the look of the Mustang.

Don't worry guys, I'm not going in the poorhouse on them. When I found out they were $1,200 a piece I was like "F*ck that".

I quite like the design. Looked at rims not unlike these, just not black. Would be good if the $1200 got you 4 rims.

The idea of the studs/bolts looks good too, IMO. As stated before, for $1200 you could do better.

Ya know....for the car...not a bad choice...but you can do alot better, just DON'T get chrome, jesus is that over-done and waay to shiny. Go for a nice brushed aluminum.....

I think they're alright. But for that price, there's much better!

Clutch I thought your car was a shade of red; even after the repaint... Am I missing something...

BTW I'm at the dealer on Saturday getting my oil changed and tires rotated and decided to take a look at some of the Mustangs... The first few I looked at I was like, "WOW I can't believe you can buy a Mustang for right around 20K"... That seemed awfully inexpensive for a sports car....

Then I came across a couple of the the Cobras... Definately a sweet ride and around more what I thought a new Mustang should cost... I was tempted to take one for a ride but decided against it for the same reason I wouldn't do C17H17NO(C2H3O2)2 :eek2:

Ocomik: You missed my thread about the new stang I got I see. I got a new one about 2 weeks ago, and it is black. You can get a v6 for around 20K I think. Most new GT's run around 25k or so. And the cobras are just so damn badass, god I love them.

McBain: I'm not going for chrome rims, just because everyone has chrome cobras on their mustangs these days, so I am going for black rims, I might go for the black bullit rims since these are way over my price range.
