TheWeatherman has released his latest client which includes support for the release of the new v5.00 FAH clients.

Electron Microscope v2.6.7 (Update)
EM Support for FAH Version 5 Client

This release supports Version 5 of Folding@Home. I waited until Stanford released the client so I could be sure that the client name was known. As I expected naming conventions changed. The previous versions of the clients were: FAH2Console.exe, FAH3Console.exe, FAH4Console.exe... but today the new name is: FAH500-Console.exe ... yippa-de-do-dah. It's amazing how I can read the future and know when something will be different... LOL.

Thanks very much to those of you who have donated a couple of $$$ to the EM-DC.COM web site. I really appreciate the help.

Enjoy! :D

Thanks Larry for the hard work you put into the best FAH monitoring program out there.

You dont have to have EM3 on all your machines Jon. Sally can put it on her machine and can monitor it all from hers..or yours.

I thought Sally had a different Satalite Dish for each of her machines - maybe they are networked!! Jack

Edited thread for version 2.6.7 update; there was a shutdown issue with version 2.6.6 that Larry has corrected.

Sally had it set up to show the maximum, which is 13 on her puter. As she has 18 WU's on the go, she found it easier just to set each puter up with it's own EMIII.

Means a bit more work, but she is happy with it. Thanks for the comment though. Be good if EMIII could do more, at least to suit us, lol.

Hehehe.........i'm sure she would have that too if she thought it was needed, lol. All networked and now thinking about having a play with VNC. Beats 3x KVM switch boxes and cables everywhere. :)

IF you have more than 13 then it will scroll.

You will love WinVNC! This makes life so much easier http://rokufelr.net/rk/vnce.jpg I work mainly on j4, this is j5 in the basement and a shortcut to everything here on the desktop. Jack

EM3 is great except I find it is too difficult to manage many computers. Plus it tends to eat up some bandwidth.
I have a little program that just gets some simple info, and alerts my if a system is down.

I am sure other people have done similar things. I just created this today.
It will look for the unitinfo.txt, and read from that.

Some great info has come out of this thread. Thanks for that guys.

It will be awhile before we get to see what we can do as Sally is the one that knows more about setting these things up. :)

Whilst the Olympics are on i won't stand a chance to get anything other than "URGENT" matters attended to.
