media for backing up?

What type of media does everyone use to backup to. Hard drive, dvd, tape, etc? Just curious cause I started doing backups on some machines and its eating up space on a hd Im storing them on.

usually HDD, but if it comes to it, CDs, cause I aint got a DVD burner

Hard drives. Drives are dirt cheap, big, and fast.
