(1970's movie, written by a famous playwriter)

Hint #3: The actor who said it has the initials PF.

Good Luck,

No, I am not STUMPED (http://www.stumps.org/) !!! I first saw this movie in a theater mid 1970's. The line struck me as so weird and out of place in the scene it was in that I've never forgotten it (though I have tried). I sometimes use it as a non-sequitur to confuse people.

Picture this: Your friend is arguing with you about football, you wait for him to make a point, then answer with "Did you ever make it with a big fat blondie waitress?" Give him about three seconds to become confused, then quickly say " 'Cause you ain't never had it 'til you make it with a big fat blondie waitress".

This works best if your friend has been drinking. You might also try using it to talk you way out of a traffic ticket, though this is not guaranteed...

Cop: "Do you know how fast you were going?"
You: "Did you ever make it with..." etc. :banghead:

I have NO idea, but I'll wager I could come up with a doozy for you! ;)
I'm not taking that bet - I have no doubt that you could!:p

Prof

Next Hint: It was a comedy (duh)

That's rough man. Do you realise how many movies have come out since "Easy Rider" in '69? Even the initials you gave are no help!

Ps, what the hell kinda link was THAT? :confused2

Only thing I could think of is this (http://movies.yahoo.com/shop?d=hv&cf=info&id=1800041903).

I barely remember the movie, and don't recall the line, but it seems to fit.

Since I hate to leave things unfinished, one last mighty hint for the "Blondie Waitress" movie.

:banghead: The script was written by Neil Simon.
:banghead: The actor who said the words (previous hint was initials "PF") played a detective in this comedy.
:banghead: He also played a detective in a more serious TV show.
:banghead: The word "detective" does not appear in the title of the movie, though the actor did play a detective in a different movie, also written by Neil Simon, which did contain that word.

Prof

Ok. The lead actor made his screen debut on an American TV western. He later gravitated to 'Spagetti westerns'.....

Well, hours of Googling, long nights reading up on Spaghetti Westerns, and banging the side of my head with my fist has yielded no firm clues.

As a shot in the dark, could the film be T&L?

If I am, it's pure luck. I had no luck finding the quote, so I went looking for supporting actors in CE movies with the initials JB.
