WARNING this is a rant

&)#@*_+ )(+(#)@*( &$@(*_@*#_ WTF I am soooooo PISSED OFF!! I have 1/4 tank of gas I wanted to fill up. ok first off f1/2 the gas station are closed ( no power ) 1/4 gas station only have diesel they are out of gas. the other 25% of the stations have lines that are 2 to 3 hrs wait and there arepeopl not only filling up thier cars I distinctively saw guys filling up 10 5 gallon jugs of gas. I am so Pissed you know how long it takes to pump 50 gallons THEN fill up the vehicle. If i were the owner. Fill up your vehicle and 1- 5 gallon gas can not 50 F'n gallons
OMG and the bastards are so mean they flick everyone off and laugh. So needless to say after trying every gas station In the tri county area I made it home with 1/8th of a tank of gas and will not be going anyplace until i can get some without having to wait freakin 3 hrs!

Did gas prices shoot through the roof, or stay fairly consistent?

Gas prices here in Houston vary from 1.639 to 1.859, though 90% of the stations are priced from 1.689 to 1.729

Well..we got nothing from Frances but rain and wind..nothin like what hit sotuh-central.

But I don't know why it's so cheap..the tax is back in effect, and when it wasn't gas was still 1.70..now it's dropped a dime in 3 days?

Atleast here, prices for gas and other necessities are freezed in a natural disaster (mostly hurricanes) and buisness owners can get a hefty fine if they increase it.

Hint....1/8th of a tank of gas equals what? 2 gallons? Thats 60 miles of highway lovin driving.....and besides.....thats assuming you have a 16 gallon tank....my taurus when the gas light goes on.....for a long ass time....the most i've EVER filled up for was 15.89 gallons, well....its an 18 gallon tank.

Ford has a minimun of 3-4 gallons left in the tank when your light goes on. GO MEET THE BIIIITCHES! Err...Hoes......er ladies of the night.

Where I moved from (northwest of D.C.) the gas was 2.00-2.20 per gallon... sick

Well here in FL people are price gouging. Frankly I don't give a rats ass that where you live it may be $5/gal I don't CARE... I just had to pay $2/gal to get home from Texas, where the price SHOULD NOT be above $1.90.

You have enough gas to get there right??? Who cares if you can't get back, hell, just gives you a reason to stay longer.

its a buck 83 and my tank is 24 gallons ( 2004 F-150 ) I finally got gas I ran into a cop (whom i grew up with )who got me infront of the line by saying ( He has a familly emergency at teh hospital and needs gas ) I explained to him I needed it for work and I work for Hanover Homes the biggest builder in the area so it was a emergency to the people house i had to go fix. Not even a 15 min wait. It was soo worth it tho the guys infront were guy s who were going to fill up like 5 to 10 gas cans PLUS thier truck. gas horders suck.

BUT i had a reason. IF i did not get the gas I woulda had to wait 2 hrs. Plus I had to fix an elderly womans roof before the storm hit later on tonight or it woulda collapsed. Ive fixed 3 roofs today outta charity so gimmie a break!
