Stan and Jan, brothers fresh off the farm in Warsaw, set out for America to make their fortunes.
They arrive at the airport to find that the only plane available in their price range is an old 4 prop transport being flown by a second rate airline as an 'economy' class from Warsaw Int'l to JFK in New york.
They purchase their tickets, board the plane and settle in for the long trans-atlantic flight.
A few hours into the flight, by now way out over the Atlantic, they hear over the intercom:

"Ladies and gentlemen. This is your captain speaking. It seems we have lost our no. 4 engine. Don't worry though, this plane was designed to fly on only three engines. But this will delay our arrival at JFK by an hour. Sit back and enjoy the rest of your flight."

Stan and Jan look at each other and breath a sigh of relief and drift back off to sleep.
About an hour later they are awakened again:

"Ladies and gentlemen. This is your captain speaking. It seems we have lost our no. 3 engine. Don't worry though, this plane was designed to fly on only two engines. But this will delay our arrival at JFK by two hours. Sit back and enjoy the rest of your flight."

Again Stan and Jan breath a sigh of relief and try to relax enough to fall back asleep.
Another hour goes by and they hear:

"Ladies and gentlemen. This is your captain speaking. It seems we have lost our no. 2 engine. But don't worry, this plane was designed to fly on only one engine. But this will delay our arrival at JFK by three hours. Sit back and enjoy the rest of your flight."

At that Stan turns to Jan and says: "Golly Jan, I hope we don't lose that last engine or we'll be up here all damn night!"
