File and Print Sharing

hey i have problem with file and print sharing. i have two computers, linked toghether by a router and i want to share files between them. but the problem is that one of them is a work laptop and its on a domain and the other computer is on a workgroup. is there any way i can share files between the two (other than ftp which is what i am doing now). is there some program out there that allows this?

I'm guessing here but couldn't you set up another profile with the settings you want?

so i would have to set up a new profile on the laptop?

Again I'm guessing but I seem to remember you can set up user profiles that lets you change all sorts of settings. Maybe you could set one up on the laptop that'd work at home. There are loads of people here who would know for sure. Maybe somebody will verify or refute this?

well i cant do that anyway because they have so much security on it that it wont let you create another profile. i was thinking of maybe some program i could use to run on the two computers to share files and printers. any ideas?
