Adaware Stops!

I'm trying to clean a friends computer. Spybot works ok but I can not get Adaware to run past a certain point in Reg. or Safe Mode. O/S = win98se.

Best thing would be to post on Ad Aware's own support forums and see if anyone there can help with that.

Thanks again for the help Dexter. There is a similar thread posted on the Lava Board, so I will watch for the answer before bothering anyone.

My gut feeling was something Mal was looping Adaware (Too many years in Mainframes, Minis, PCs etc.). I ran Registry Mehanic. Many Issues on that PC. (My friend has two teenage boys!) The next run of Adaware got by the hang point.
