What program for a photo DVD?

I have just come back from the most wonderful holiday to Zakynthos with my girlfriend and we have a couple of hundred photos. We want to put them onto a DVD with music & nice transitions (a bit like Photo Jam - that uses Flash so can't go on a DVD).

Has anyone any recommendations??
