Home Search SUCKS HELP!

Hey All,

I have been trying to get rid of the Hijacker Home Search Assistant for IE. I have followed the guide used ad aware, hsremove, spybot, sophis antivirus and hijack this. At this point I only use my firefox browser. The porgrom ONLY installs itself when I run IE as a browser. I go thru and clean it out and even uninstall the program but next time I log in their it is again. Here is my log please help! THANKS

Before doing the following, please Set your computer to show hidden files and folders (http://www.short-media.com/forum/showpost.php?p=172588&postcount=3), Disable System Restore (http://www.short-media.com/forum/showpost.php?p=172591&postcount=4), and Reboot in Safe Mode (http://www.short-media.com/forum/showpost.php?p=175908&postcount=6).

Once you have done that, Run HijackThis and have it fix the following:


R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,HomeOldSP = about:blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,HomeOldSP = about:blank
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {86329983-96CA-46AD-B202-4B9BAEACA60F} - C:\WINNT\system32\chdkgn.dll (file missing)

Then find and locate the files listed above and delete them.

Once you have done that, reboot, scan with HiijackThis again, and post a new log.
