[Animosh]

Could one you please look at my Hijck this log, and 1. explain how i can tell which entries my system needs and 2. which entries are this damn spyware?

I ran spybot it found a shoppingg entry(i got rid of it) then i ran ad aware which came up with 152 entries for ibis, which i killed anlong with the backup which it said was not a threat.

this is not from safe mode tho, and i did turn off sys restore and turned on show hidden files

another stupid note i had norton internet security(updated) ON and still got this annoying pos

Fix that then find and delete soap.exe

When I first started with the logs, I was constantly Googling every file listed, to make sure it was spyware. Over time, you learn which files are required and which ones aren't. Every once in a while I still go back to the search engines, but most of it I just know.

Thank You this worked for me =o) but i dicovered a new problem, i ran Norton AV after this and it found four potential threats so i tried to delete them Norton could not do this. So i went and found each file and tried to delete. When i press the delete key it just beeps when i try to move the file to recycle bin it says drive is write protected or full. I run the Quarentine program from norton, i cant even open the folder where these files are without it saying the folder is in use. I did all this in safe mode too. Also i tried from the command prompt but it could not detect the folder even tho i i was in that folders directory, it could not find that folder.

just for fun i copied the name of one of these created a notepad file and named it the same thing Norton came up with notepad trying to connect to a dns server

I am just wondering how to delete these now??

Try clearing your Temporary Internet Files (Go to Start»Run and type Cleanmgr then click Enter, check every box in the Disk Cleanup tab, and click Okay.
