Help Me I Cant Decide....

Hello

I have 2 computers, both with athlon xp 2.6 barton, 512 ram, hd 7200 rpm.
One mounted with an asus a7nx8-x ant the other with a MSI kt6v.
I have the feeling that MSI goes slower than the asus.... Im considering going back to my dealer and change the msi by asus. Can anyone help me on this decision? Thank you. I work with video editing and post production effects. :)

You should get more than "a feeling" before you go that far. :)

You might want to check bios settings. Sometimes a tweak here and there can make a dramatic difference. Are the computers using the same Video Card and same brand Memory in each? That could account for it right there.

I'm a fan of both companies and have had good results with each.

Then, run a few benchmarks. 3DMark and Atto are a few popular ones to use. You can find them in the Downloads (http://www.short-media.com/download.php) section under Benchmarks. Post them here and we might be able to give more advice. :wave:

Yes I use the same graphic card on both computers, fx 5200 128 megas.
