So, it seems a good amount of people haven't heard of these guys. Well, damn. Lol. They've achieved almost cult-like popularity in my school, mostly introduced by a friend and me. So, anyone heard of them? Or Dropkick Murphy's (they're kind of alike)?

If so, what do you think of them? (btw, how's THAT for non-biased options? :rolleyes: :p)

Both of those bands are so so imho. I'll admit, they both house alot of talent, just not really my style. You prolly knew I would say that. ;)

Pretty much :p You and another friend or two are who really got me to love emo/punk more than ever :p So, yeah lol.

But, I agree. They're best in small doses. I actually like their new album, Within A Mile Of Home, because it isn't so grinding on your ears, lol. Still good, no matter what :D

I saw them live. They absolutely rock live... If I hadn't seen them live first, I probably wouldn't be a fan, but I do consider myself a fan. They put on a HELL of a show.

Love 'em both! Have a couple of Dropkicks records on vinyl :D

I haven't gotten to see either live though :(

I've never heard of the band - I read the thread title and I thought it was a euphemism, like 'flogging the bishop.'

never actually heard Flogging Molly, but I'm a big fan of the Dropkicks. Irish :thumbsup:
