View Full Version : good motherboard?
Well I have come to the conclusion that my motherboard is dead after about a million tests ive done, and I am going to RMA it. It is the asus K8V SE deluxe motherboard, and i have an Athlon 64 3200+. I plan on getting a different model motherboard because I've searched on other forums and found that people have had the same problems with the board that i have, and i dont want to get another bad board. What is a good, reliable, ATX motherboard that is capable of using with an AMD Athlon 64 3200+? suggestions would be very helpful
(I dont want to spend over $150, maybe $160)

I'm thinking of upgrading to a 64 bit machine. I was thinking about the Shuttle AN51R. Is this a decent board?

Stick with the top brands Asus, MSI, Abit, & Epox. You're more likely to be able to get help with any problems you might encounter if you're using a mobo most people have also.
