Just wondering... It seems like most motherboards are Chinese.
A curiousity question, nothing more.
As far as I know, there aren't any.

No. To my knowledge, all motherboards are now made in Taiwan or China. Really, is there any mass production component that's made in North America or Europe? I can't think of any.

I guess I'd need your definition of "mass production component" to even think about answering that.
I live in a town where thousands of big electrical motors are produced every year also Brodix cylinder heads and intake manifolds are made here by the thousands per year, I worked in a lumber mill that made enough lumber per hour to build two complete 3000 square ft homes (conversly they use a hundred loads of logs per day) and I can name several detroit auto makers that actually cast engines and produce them in the states as well...

Madmat, my bad; I was referring to mass produced computer components. Sorry, should have been more specific.

Ah, I kinda was wondering if that was the case, Klipsh Audio speakers might be made in the U.S.A. (the computer type) because I know for a fact that they make their home audio speakers here in AR somewhere...aside from them I'd be hard pressed to name anything else.

I'll pose the question to a friend of mine, since he works for a contract manufacturing company.
